'2019-2023 Nature is my favorite model, and the Carpathian Mountains are a boundless love. I believe we all share these feelings and appreciate beautiful, perfect shots of sunrises high in the mountains. But - whether consciously or not - we often destroy what we value the most. I took three expired black-and-white Polaroid cassettes on this hike along the Svydovets Ridge to show how fragile this beauty is and how quickly it can disappear. Today, the mountains are scarred by jeeps and litter, and it’s possible that part of this landscape will be lost due to plans to build a mega-resort here in the future. If we don’t act now, some of this nature will simply vanish - like parts of the images on those Polaroids.
